To put a caller on hold, follow these steps:

On a PC or laptop

1. When on a call, click or tap the More actions button (...)
   
   

2. Select Hold from the dropdown menu

On a desk phone

1. Tap the Hold button to put the caller on hold
   
   

   All desk phones work the same way. The widescreen phones have the same controls in the center of the screen. Those phones also have a physical Hold button you can use to bypass this step.

2. When you're ready to resume the call, tap the Play button ( > ) to resume the call
