Overview

Your Teams desk phone supports auto-lock with a PIN code to protect access to your phone. Your Teams phone provides access to your calendar, so you may wish to keep it locked.

Lock your phone

Manual lock

  1. If you have not yet done so, set a PIN code following the steps in this guide under Set your PIN and timeout
  2. From any phone screen, hold down the pound sign (#) for 6 seconds to lock the phone.
  3. The phone screen will show a lock icon with the current date and time – it is now locked

Unlock your phone

  1. From the lock screen, enter your PIN on the keypad or press the lock icon and use the on-screen keypad

  2. After a short delay, your phone will unlock and return to the last screen shown before it was locked


Set your PIN and timeout

  1. Tap the profile icon in the upper left corner and then the Settings menu option

     → 

  2. Scroll down and tap the Device settings menu option



  3. Tap the Phone Lock menu option to get to the lock settings screen.

    If you already have a PIN code, you will be asked to enter it before changing lock settings
