Place or receive calls in the Teams app

Place a call
First, select the Calls icon from the left menu
The Calls screen opens to your Speed dial list. If you're calling someone on your speed dial, click the phone icon under their name to start a call.
You can add new contacts to your speed dial by clicking the Add speed dial button, or use the New group button to create groups to organize speed dial contacts.
To call another number, locate the Dial a number button at the bottom left and click it to reveal a dial pad.
Enter the number using your keyboard or the on-screen keys, and click Call to start the call.
Answer an incoming call
When you get a call, a notification will pop up in the bottom right corner of your PC screen.
Click the blue icon (phone held up) to answer the call. The red icon (phone placed down) will decline the call.
Answering the phone will bring up this call screen. If your PC is muted, you'll be alerted and prompted to unmute it.
If you want to put the caller on hold, transfer the call, or enable live captions, click the "..." button in the upper right of the call window.
