Answer a call from the Teams app

If you have the Teams app running (even in the background), an alert will pop up on your PC whenever you get an incoming call. This happens even if you have a desk phone or are logged in on a mobile device.

To answer, just click the blue phone icon on the alert pop up.

The call screen is similar to the meeting screen, but there is no video for the participants. You can safely minimize the call window without disrupting the call. The call screen provides access to calling features like Hold, Transfer, or Live Captions.
