Access shared calendars remotely

If you use a department or other shared calendar and want to access it from webmail, follow the steps below:

Step-by-step guide

  1. Log into webmail at https://mail.njstatelib.org
  2. Click the grid of dots in the upper left corner and select Calendar to go to the calendar screen


  3. In the bottom left of the screen, locate the Other calendars list. It may be empty but that's fine
  4. Right click on the Other calendars heading and select Add public folder to Favorites from the pop up menu
  5. Select your shared calendar from the list that appears and click Add to Favorites at the top of the slide-out panel. You'll get a message confirming that the calendar was added.
  6. Click the X in the upper right corner to return to the calendar screen. Your shared calendar now appears in the Other calendars list. Click the name to toggle showing its events in the calendar grid.


You can add events to a shared calendar in webmail by changing the Save to calendar option on the new calendar event screen.
