Stop chat notifications from a meeting

If you received an invite to a Teams meeting from an NJSL colleague and did not accept it (or even declined it), you may still get pop up notifications about chat messages in that meeting. Here's how to stop them.

  1. Click the Chat icon on the left menu in your Teams app, and find the meeting that's triggering pop ups.



  2. Hover over the meeting name to reveal 3 dots "..." and click them to show a dropdown menu

  3. Click the Mute option to stop pop up notifications for this meeting
