Start a conference from the Teams app
First, select the Calendar icon from the left menu
Schedule a meeting for the future
- Click the New meeting button in the top menu, or browse the calendar to find the time you want and click on it
Pick a date and time for the meeting, and add any notes you'd like to the Details box. The meeting link and call-in info will appear below these notes in the meeting invite. - Click Send to send the meeting invite to your attendees.
Start a meeting now
- Start a conference at any time from Teams by clicking the Meet Now button in the top menu
- This will prompt you to name the meeting, and give you a link to share with others. Click Start meeting when you're ready to start the meeting.
You can change the name of the meeting or other settings. Select Computer audio then click Join now when you're ready - When the meeting starts, you'll be prompted to copy a link or send an email to invite others
