If you have an older device iPad that was not enrolled by IT before being assigned to you, you'll need to complete these self-enrollment steps to get access to apps

Tip

If you have the ME MDM app on your iPad, you are already enrolled and don't need to follow these steps.



  1. On your iPad, open the browser and go to: https://sysmgr.njstatelib.org:8383/mdm/enroll
  2. At the MDM Profile Installation screen, click the Continue button

  3. When prompted, enter your work email address, username (flastname@njstatelib.org), and password you use to log into your PC
    Click the Continue button.

  4. Click Continue on a couple pages until you get a pop up that the "website is trying to download a configuration profile."
    Click the Allow button.

  5. You'll get a pop up that the profile was downloaded. Close the browser and open the Settings app.
    Select General and then select the Profile option.

  6. Tap the MDM Profile. Confirm that it was signed by sysmgr.njstatelib.org and the word Verified appears

  7. Tap the Install link in the upper right corner, then tap Install again and then Trust

  8. Make sure the screen shows Profile Installed before exiting the Settings app

  9. When you exit Settings, you'll be prompted to allow an app installation. Click the Install button
    The MDM app will install automatically.

  10. To install apps, use the App Catalog. See Installing apps on your iPad for more details.

    Tip

    When installing apps, you may get a pop up telling you that an app is being installed and that you won't be charged. Click the Install button to allow the install to complete.
